1.Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Founder's Toolbox ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), accessible at thefounderstoolbox.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service is operated from the United States. By using it, you consent to having your data processed in the U.S.

2.Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or have legal permission from a parent or guardian, to use the Service. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.Your account and content

When you sign up, we collect your email address. When you post in the community feed, send direct messages, or use AI tools, that content is associated with your account.

You retain ownership of anything you post or generate. By posting in public areas of the Service (such as the community feed), you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content to other users of the Service.

4.Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro is billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. Pricing is shown on our site at the time of subscription.

Cancellation: You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep Pro access until then.

Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time. All sales are final once a billing period has begun. This is the standard for SaaS products of our type.

Price changes: If we change our pricing, we'll give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price takes effect. You can cancel before the change if you don't want to continue.

Failed payments may result in suspension of Pro features until payment is updated.

5.AI-generated content

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate content like business plans, cold emails, pitch decks, and advice. AI output is not professional advice. It can be inaccurate, biased, or simply wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you rely on for real business decisions.

The Service is not a substitute for legal, financial, tax, or medical advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly secure. We may update, change, or remove features at any time. If we make a major change that affects paid users, we'll let you know.

8.Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or for any other reason at our discretion. If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund any prepaid amount for unused time on your Pro subscription.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We don't guarantee that AI-generated content, advisor responses, or any other output will be accurate, useful, or appropriate for your situation.

10.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were warned such damages were possible.

11.Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
